For the past five-six months I had been in Brisbane, working with the Urban Informatics Research Lab at the Queensland University of Technology. The project, called FixVegas, had as final goal the creation of an iPhone app that would provide a tool to engage Brisbane citizens in urban planning projects and facilitate the communication between them and Brisbane City Council.
Currently, some more tweaks need to be added and comprehensive testing is still due, but the app shall be released to the AppStore in the next couple of months.
If you want to know more, sneak a peak at the final project presentation.
For those keen on reading :-) I also made a copy of the thesis available.
As I finally have more spare time, I hope to be posting a lot more often from now on, so stay tuned! :-)
